Mathmos Thaw is a unique candle holder made of ice. As the ice melts, it fills the mould so that you can refreeze. It takes about 3 hours for the ice to completely melt (unless you live in Mexico). The ice candle is a pretty 'cool' design available for $55.
Implications - This would be a great addition to any party or social gathering, and at only $55 it is definitely feasible to have a bunch of them. On top of this, the fact that each ice candle is reusable is a serious perk. Mathmos Thaw would be an effortless conversation starter, and that would make it a lot of fun to have in your home.
