The Hyundai Electric Scooter is Intended for the Last Mile

The Hyundai electric scooter is designed with the pourpose of providing transportation for the last section of a person's commute. The auto manufacturer initially indicated that it would produce an electric scooter in 2017. Now a Hyundai electric scooter has been revealed, which is a foldable prototype with a 12.4-mile range a top speed of 12.4 MPH.

The scooter is able to move from a front-wheel to a rear-wheel-drive to offer a more stable ride. As well, it has an enhanced suspension system. The company is also looking at including regenerative braking components, which would extend the scooter's range.

Hyundai has not yet indicated a schedule for when it will release its electric scooter. The scooter is currently still in a prototype phase, where the company can make any needed alterations.
