McLaren is Releasing a $450 Footwear with 'Athletic Propulsion Labs'

McLaren announced an upcoming limited-edition piece of luxury footwear titled the 'HySpeed.' This is a running shoe made in collaboration between McLaren and 'Athletic Propulsion Labs,' a designer shoe label. With this shoe, McLaren sought to release a piece of footwear that brings a quality similar to its cars, to people's feet.

As such, the HySpeed is equipped with comfortable insoles, reliable grips, an aerodynamic shape, and a large array of ventilation. The eyestay and upper of the shoe have holes that allow for breathability, which lets athletes run quickly while remaining comfortable.

One notable aspect of the HySpeed is its color options. The shoe is available in five bright neon colors, such as green, red, yellow, and orange. According to McLaren, the HySpeed took the design team approximately two years to finalize and bring to production.
