The conceptual 'Hyang' humidifier is a miniature appliance for the home that will work to mimic the experience of burning incense for a touch of aromatic moisture that won't create any smoke. Designed by Dongkyu Kim, the unit works by having the base filled with water along with your choice of fragrance. The humidifier will then pipe the water vapor up through the incense-like stick to release it into an area, which will honor the tradition of burning incense without the need for any combustible components.
The conceptual 'Hyang' humidifier features a wireless design that can be charged up via USB-C to allow for use almost anywhere including in homes or for daily religious practices. The mini appliance is the winner of several awards including The Asia Design Award and the Silver PIN UP Concept Design Award in 2019.
