The HP VR Backpack Will Get a Summer Release

HP will soon be releasing a VR backpack, which will be intended for workplace use. In Situations like training, HP believes workplaces could be improved by the use of VR technology. The VR backpack is set to be released this summer and is the company's second version of a VR backpack. HP released a similar product in 2017 that was more gaming-focused.
The product shares much of the same technology as the company's laptops. Using the 8th Generation Intel Core and a new Nvidia graphics card, the backpack has a 30 percent performance boost and 25 percent better graphics than previous editions. The backpack focuses on being compatible with other devices and has two USB ports, a USB-C port, an HMD power port, and a headphone jack. The HP VR Backpack will be slightly cheaper than its 2017 counterpart, the 2019 model is $200 cheaper and has a price point of $3,300.
