These new HP laser printers have been announced as a refreshed range of peripherals for users to incorporate into their setup as a way to reduce energy consumption, waste and more. The printers are reported to have a 27% reduction in energy consumption compared to previous models and have has their plastic packaging components reduced by 78%. The printers include the HP Color LaserJet 4200/4300 series for small businesses and remote workers, while the HP Color LaserJet Enterprise 5000/6000 series can handle the daily printing needs of larger offices.
The new HP laser printers are equipped with touchscreen and analog controls, while the HP Smart Admin Dashboard enables adjustments accordingly. The printers are slated to start arriving in North America on April 1 with a phased rollout taking place in Asia throughout the month.
