Lucy is a hotel phone app that ensures that attentive hospitality doesn't end as soon as a guest leaves the bellboy at the elevator. Launching with the opening of Virgin's first hotel, which is located in Chicago, Lucy brings a sense of personality and personalization often lacking from similar hotel phone apps.
Although the hotel phone app will be able to execute practical actions such as thermostat control, bill review and even making a reservation, it also offers phone direct streaming, hotel tours and a live chat option. Of course, Lucy has a lot of room to grow. Doug Carillo, a spokesperson for the hotel, says, "We’re looking to grow the app and the services it provides as the devices and way guests use them change."
