Any good technology platform worth its salt needs to evolve and progress with the times, and Aira has taken this philosophy seriously by introducing an upgraded version of the smart glasses designed to go with its cloud-based vision-assisting platform.
Dubbed the Horizon Smart Glasses, this high-tech piece of eyewear is designed to act as a consolidated platform to help people with different degrees of vision impairment to navigate their world. The glasses are equipped with a wide-angle camera, and are used in conjunction with a controller device that monitors battery and network parameters.
Whereas Aira's previous platform required a number of third-party services to work properly, the Horizon Smart Glasses are designed to be far more streamlined to operate, giving people with vision impairments maximum assistance with minimal hassle.
