Created simply using five nutrient-rich ingredients, Honey Mama bars are designed specifically to be delicious and a healthier alternative to decadence. Made up of Dutch-processed cocoa, raw honey, unrefined coconut oil, coconut meat and Himalayan pink salt, these bars have ingredients that are direct-trade, non-GMO and organic. Founded by Christy Goldsby, the Honey Mama bars began as an experiment to create a delicious alternative to chocolate bars for people exploring raw foods.
The use of raw honey gives the bars powerful antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, while the coconut oil provides healthy fats and lauric acid. The bars are currently available in eight distinct flavors, including ginger and cardamom, lavender and red rose, peppermint and Mayan spices. Honey Mama bars can also be used in a variety of cooking applications, including smoothies and even savory options.
