Jet-Transforming Robots

This Homemade Transformer is a Complex and Striking Prototype

Using nothing more than scrap metal, a man in China has created his own homemade transformer. An incredible clever application of design and no doubt a strong creative passion have led to a highly complex and quite striking prototype.

The homemade transformer has two modes; a spaceship form (though it looks more like a jet) and a humanoid form. The pieces were gathered from old RC cars, action figures and a finger light for the head, allowing it to light up for a very cool effect.

The transformation process takes a bit of time, the effect is still pretty impressive. Although perhaps not as sleek or finely honed as the type of toy you can buy off the shelf, this homemade transformer has a heck of a lot more character and uniqueness all its own.
