HMD Global, Formerly part of Nokia, Announced the 'HMD Pulse+' Android

The HMD Pulse+ is a smartphone that marks the independent foray of HMD Global into the market, following its split from Nokia. It features a 6.56-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and is powered by a Unisoc T606 processor. The device offers 4GB or 8GB RAM options and comes with 128GB of internal storage, which is expandable via a MicroSD card. For photography, the Pulse+ is equipped with a 50MP main camera on the rear and a 5,000mAh battery to ensure long-lasting performance.

The HMD Pulse+ is priced at 160 Euros, or roughly $200 USD. It is available in various colorways, including Apricot Crush, Glacier Green, and Midnight Blue. The smartphone is currently available for purchase in Europe through the official HMD website and is expected to be available soon through Vodafone and O2 stores across the UK. The Pulse+ is part of HMD’s new lineup that emphasizes affordability and repairability, offering consumers a budget-friendly option with the promise of two Android OS upgrades and three years of security updates.
