Now when the class is getting out of hand, the teacher can’t just casually run her fingernails down the chalkboard (which I might add could do serious damage to your hearing). Hitachi’s E-Blackboard (dubbed the PX-Duo-50…I don’t know why) is a revolutionary tool which is planned to be integrated in elementary and junior schools in Japan.
The blackboard supports a 50-inch display, an embedded coordinate detection device in it (I assume for the writing part) and a digital TV tuner.
It’s a great addition to the classroom that has more uses than simple dictation from the teacher!
