Culture-Blending Furniture Series

Hi Thanks Bye Introduces its Debut Range entitled Collection 0

Stein Wang and Topher Kong work together to introduce a brand new Toronto-based design studio entitled 'Hi Thanks Bye.' Its introductory collection, Collection 0, is set to debut at the London Design Fair next month. This new range is set to deliver a blend of cultural and academic exploration and references. The designers created a series of contemporary furniture pieces drawing inspiration from Canadian landscapes and Chinese design aesthetics.

Collection 0 is comprised of six pieces in total including rug seat, dining chair, floor lamp, bar stools, side tables and a bookshelf/divider. The Canadian design duo looks to their nation's natural beauty for inspiration, including the Bruce Peninsula, Algonquin Park and Fogo Island. There is also traditional Chinese inspiration of gardens filled with water, plants, and rocks. Every piece is constructed from a powder-coated stainless steel with additional upholstery added to certain pieces.
