1000 lb Man Gets Married

The world’s heaviest man recently married his longtime girlfriend. Mexican, Manuel Uribe once weighed 1,230 pounds (560 kilograms) and made it into the 2006 Guinness Book of World Records. Since then, he has lost 500 pounds with the help of his girlfriend, Claudia Solis. They both got married recently.

Uribe was dressed in white, just like his bride-to-be. His custom bed was also decorated for the wedding because he and the bed were driven to the wedding on a flat-bed truck.

His mother told Associated Press, “He didn’t break his diet. His doctors are here and they are watching him very closely.”

Instead of the customary first dance, the newly weds “held hands and swayed to a romantic ballad.”

The future looks bright for this young couple as they look forward to a family, as well as Uribe’s new title as the world’s greatest weight loser.
