To me, it’s almost a nightmare—the fact that normal snacks like chips, chocolate bars and cookies will give way to fruit, veggies, and granola bars. But whether I like it or not, healthy vending machines are taking over the snacking industry, the latest of which comes from the Barcelona company Lo Fresco, or ‘Lof.’
Similar to the North America-based Yo! Naturals healthy vending machines, the Lof versions will offer a selection of fresh and organic items like fruits, nuts, gazpacho soup and other ready-prepared meals. Cue a sad tear (I like my junk food!).
