Tractor Beverage Company is bringing apple cider vinegar into the sparkling drink category with Haymaker, a USDA Certified Organic tonic made with a full tablespoon of organic apple cider vinegar per 12-ounce can. Light carbonation and real fruit give the drink a crisp, soda-like format, while its “farmer’s tonic” roots connect it to a more traditional use of vinegar-based beverages.
Haymaker comes in four flavours: Citrus Ginger, Apricot Peach, Dragon Berry and Passion Mango. The cans contain no added sugar, with around five grams of sugar and between 25 and 30 calories depending on the flavour. The range also holds Clean Label Project certification and has received recognition from Bon Appétit and industry awards.
The drink first launched at Sprouts in January before expanding to 50 Wegmans locations from September 1. Its wider rollout reflects growing interest in functional drinks that fit more easily into everyday beverage habits, using familiar formats such as sparkling tonics to deliver ingredients like apple cider vinegar.
Tractor was founded by farmers and connects Haymaker to organic sourcing and soil-health initiatives. The result is an ACV drink that puts the ingredient into a lighter, fruit-forward format rather than a traditional wellness shot.
