'BYO Bowls' Specializes in Healthy Custom Meals with Living Organisms

'BYO Bowls' (pronounced Bio-Bowls) is the name of an all-new Hawaiian restaurant that's described as a "progressive, Millennial-centered quick service restaurant" in the heart of the Hawaii Kai Towne Center. The 2,400 restaurant has mixed indoor and outdoor seating and accommodates well over 60 patrons at a time.

True to its name, Build Your Own Bowls is a destination for build-your-own stir-fry, fried rice, salad and poké bowls. In addition to offering customization, BYO Bowls also puts an emphasis on health by incorporating living organisms into its dishes, as well as taking care to source its ingredients from local farmers and suppliers.

Toppings that can be added to the four Asian-inspired base bowl dishes include noodles, sauces, protein and a generous list of vegetables. These meals can be complemented with iced tea or coffee, hard or regular lemonade, as well as bubble tea.
