The images explain why it's so important to get eight hours of sleep each night, not just for mental alertness but for your emotional state. Alternatively, the brain does not function rationally and therefore can not keep feelings like anger, sadness and stress in check.
The facts show that even a half hour difference in sleep can greatly affect people's emotional states. Those with seven hours of snoozing or more show substantially greater levels of happiness than those with just six and a half hours. These happiness-enhancing infographics show that productivity at work, safety while driving and happiness in relationships will all increase if you just hit that eighth hour of sleep.
