Some of my favorite designs are those that involve redesigns of heavily used everyday objects. The 'Hang by Hand' clothes hanger enters into that realm.
Designed by Alfredo Haberli, the 'Hang by Hand' hanger has been tweaked in a very simple, yet hugely significant way. Everyday we grab hangers by the shoulder, essentially manhandling our beloved clothes. With this improved hanger, however, Haberli has added a handle just above the shoulder to put that to a stop.
