To make the handmade tiles, Dein picks and presses flowers. Then she arranges them into pretty, peaceful designs that make them look like wildflowers growing in a field. Next, she presses them into clay to create molds, and then fills the clay molds with plaster and concrete to create the finished handmade tile. It's a laborious process, but the final product is gorgeous and whimsical.
