Samsung's Hand Wash App Encourages Healthy Hygiene Practices

Over the last few months people have become extra-vigilant with their hand-washing habits and to continue encouraging these healthy hygiene habits, Samsung created the Hand Wash app for Galaxy Watch users. The app for Gear S3, Gear Sports, Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch Active and Galaxy Watch Active2 users helps to cement a habit at a time when personal hygiene is of the utmost importance.

Although hand-washing is recommended frequently and diligently, it requires people to follow through. The Hand Wash app provides clear guidelines on how and how often people should be washing their hands, and the app even includes a countdown function to help smartwatch wearers wash for the appropriate amount of time—as Galaxy Watches are waterproof, there's no need to worry about removing the device for frequent hand-washing.
