Gucci's Pre-Fall 2018 lookbook has just been released, highlighting a variety of styles that blend vintage motifs with dreamy backdrops.

The line's creative director Alessandro Michele used Rome, Italy as the backdrop for this editorial, which pays homage to the movies created by the director Dario Argento, who famously used film to celebrate "Rome's nocturnal dark side" in the 70s and 80s. This Gucci lookbook introduces consumers to the brand's upcoming offerings, which include bold prints, vibrant colors, printed two-piece sets and plenty of elegant accessories.

Some of the standout pieces include the brand's over-the-knee Gucci boots, which have been over-branded with Gucci's logo. Another interesting item are the brand's rainbow-hued socks, which are seen paired with a bright blue suit.
