Grupo Chilero, the Southern California-based parent company of La Fiesta and Chef Merito, has announced that Tadin Herb and Tea Co., the leading Hispanic tea brand in the United States, has joined its portfolio. This move unites three category-leading brands that collectively span seasonings, marinades, dried chiles, spices, herbs, teas, and specialty products.
Tadin Herb and Tea Co. — founded in Los Angeles in 1982 and known for its chamomile tea, which is the best-selling tea in Southern California — has built a loyal following through its commitment to herbal traditions and botanical remedies. As part of Grupo Chilero's portfolio, the brand continues to operate from its SQF- and Organic-certified facility in Vernon, California. It also gains access to the group's expansive direct-store-delivery network of over 150 routes and distribution centers nationwide.
