It's not often that you see nachos served with fruit as a topping, but this new recipe by Honestly Yum showcases that grilled fruits such as pineapple are ideal for adding a sweet flavor to the traditionally crunchy and savory dish.

These grilled pineapple nachos are a great way to experiment with unexpected food flavors and add light and fresh ingredients to a traditional heavy meal. These nachos are covered in rich Monterey Jack cheese topped with Hawaiian pizza toppings like sliced ham, red onions and grilled pineapple. In addition, fresh herbs like cliantro as well as jalapenos and watermelon radishes are included to help bring together the sweet and savory ingredients. This meal would be great to serve during a party or as an app during a sport's game.
