At $49.99, the Griffin Stylus is either a prohibitively priced pen or a multipurpose wonder tool! Read on and make the decision for yourself.
For most children, gadgets appear more novel and superstitious than almost anything else. Whether they were cheap and gaudy or top-of-the-line, the myriad of functions always sent the mind of my younger self racing; the Griffin Stylus is exactly that type of gadget, capable of writing on paper, on touchpad or in the air. Its variable tip can swap between pen, stylus and laser pointer, allowing the user to respectively switch between productive employee and annoying 6th grader. Modern smartphones, however "smart," often fail consumers with slightly larger digits, so a stylus is often a necessary tool.
Designed for students and professional artists, the Griffin Stylus would feel more at home in the pencil case of 5th-grade-me -- but then again, I was too busy saving up for Yu-Gi-Oh! cards to buy a $50 gadget.
