Grand Seiko's Limited Edition Anniversary Watches Celebrate 20 Years

Grand Seiko's limited edition sports watches celebrate the brand's 20th anniversary, marking the first watch with a GMT complication and the 15th anniversary of the brand's first Spring Drive-powered chronograph.

To honor the monumental celebrations, the brand launched two new watches. The stainless steel GMT SBGE275 and the titanium chronograph SBGC247 are the latest additions to the Grand Seiko Sport collection. The use of white elements and textured patterns on the dials are meant to mimic the snow on Grand Seiko's neighboring mountain peaks. In addition to their winter-inspired theme, the two new watches also feature blue accents to "echo the bright blue color of the winter sky in Shinshu." Spring Drive movements power both timepieces.
