Weather-Combating Casual Shoes

Converse's GORE-TEX Chuck 70s are Resistant to Water Damage

Footwear label Converse unveils a look at its new GORE-TEX Chuck 70s, which are designed to combat harsher weather conditions to come later this year. The silhouettes have a canvas construction throughout its uppers that are waterproof and have a GORE-TEX lining resistant to weather threats. The tongues are gusseted for additional water resistance to provide overall protection from heel to toe. The insoles are Ortholite in order to deliver ultimate comfort and the label's branding details get a vintage makeover.

The GORE-TEX Chuck 70s are made in five different colorway options -- there is white, triple black, orange, black with white design prints, and pink with white design prints. The water-resistant sneakers will be a part of the label's holiday collection that dials in on outdoor apparel and utility themes.
