Search Engine Share Functions

A Google Share Button is Currently Being Tested

A Google share button was included on a beta program for Android devices, where users can share Google search results with other people. The share function appears as a button that is present on the search results page. If users tap the button, a share menu is brought up while the Menu has a "search.add.goo.gle" link. This link is then meant to be shared with whoever necessary.

However, the Google share button only shares the search terms that were used, and not actual results itself. This means that those who receive the search terms may not get the same results as the person sending the terms. This is because Google customizes results according to previous information. Currently, the feature is only available in the Android beta program, with no information on when or if this will get adopted to wider use.
