Walt Disney Announces Venture into Home Development Called Golden Oaks

The Walt Disney Corporation has just announced their forage into the world of designer luxury homes. The Wall Street Journal has reported that the cartoon conglomerate is opening up a neighborhood of luxury homes in Disney World called Golden Oaks.

The neighborhood will feature 450 homes and a Four Seasons hotel. The houses will be priced between $1.5 and 8 million. Interested buyers can put down money on a house now, although the development may take around 10 years to complete. The Walt Disney Corporation is hoping that the Golden Oaks venture will boost the Florida housing market.
