Gluten-Free Cracker Alternatives

RITZ Introduces Gluten-Free Versions of Its Original Crackers

RITZ is expanding gluten-free classic snacks with a certified gluten-free version of its Original crackers, making the familiar snack accessible to consumers avoiding gluten. Developed by Mondelēz International, the new offering is designed to maintain the buttery flavor, golden appearance, and delicate texture associated with traditional RITZ crackers. The product also contains no artificial colors or flavors, providing an alternative for everyday snacking and entertaining.

Launching in October 2026, the crackers will initially be sold at Walmart and Albertsons before expanding nationwide in February 2027. Each eight-ounce package carries a suggested retail price of $4.49, with the same versatility for pairing with toppings or incorporating into recipes.

For RITZ, the expansion addresses longstanding consumer requests while broadening its potential customer base. Introducing a gluten-free version of an established product also allows the brand to compete for additional purchases within the dietary-specific snack market.
