At a time when televisions are being lifted from tables and onto the walls, products like the List DVD Player make perfect sense. If you've abandoned the entertainment unit altogether, your media gadgets are going to need to find new homes.

This clever project, undertaken by Andrey Vostrikov and associates, proposes a disc reader with the ability to function when set down, and when wall-mounted, keeping connector cord placement and display perspectives in mind. The designers came up with a solution that includes a smooth and glossy screen across the whole top or front of the device. One can interpret and interact with the List DVD Player from above and in front, and the slot loading mechanism is always conveniently along the right side.
