This nostalgic Glen Mullaly photograph captures retro rocket ship toothbrush holders from the 1950s. While the maker of the holders is unknown, they clearly have an old school feel and were likely made before the moon landing. Back then when little boys dreamed of being astronauts, it wasn't a real job and these toothbrush holders likely played into those daydreams.
The toothbrush holders were given as a gift to Glen Mullaly who snapped this shot after several attempts. The clear plastic covers can prove tricky with photography, as one must by mindful of flare and how the images appear when blown up. To get around this issue, the photography used a vintage background to amp up the aged quality.
