The app provides an easy way to ensure a family member or friend receives a gift they want. It can be used for any occasion, including birthdays, holidays, graduations and more. Wish lists can easily be shared and messages can also be included along with a gift, which can add a personal touch to a gift.

The app was initially created in 2015 by two entrepreneurs named Vikram Chopra and Gerard Maynard.
