Forget sporting ultra luxe gems on your fingers and necklaces, as an iced-out vehicle constructed from Gemballa diamond coating is the new way to showcase your opulence.

The German-based company has previously made a splash with its gold-infused Mirage GT Gold Edition, but it has now taken the bling factor up a notch by creating a car finish that is made from crushed-up diamonds. By breaking down the stone into fragments small enough to be applied like paint, the luxury design house created a material that effectively coats the car body without losing any of the glimmer and shine that makes the diamond such a precious stone.

While there is no word yet of a car being designed to showcase this finish, the company has certainly developed a showy way to flaunt one’s wealth.
