Valentino's Crochet Garavani Sneaker is Carefully Handcrafted

Luxury fashion house Valentino introduces a fully knitted crochet sneaker in the form of the Garavani sneaker model. The sneaker model experiments with materials and textures in playful color palettes for an intricate offering this Spring/Summer 2021 season.

The shoes have a macramè crochet worn throughout the upper, which is a feature that is often seen on couture gowns. Every upper is handmade and features four colorway options -- there is black, white, red, or yellow. The details of the interwoven makeup includes a braided collar and a VLogo signature sole unit. Notably, every pair of the crochet Garavani sneaker takes over 10 hours to make, with 88 needles and about 100 meters of wire.
