Baracuta Honors its Iconic Jacket in the G9 Anniversary Book

Baracuta celebrates its signature G9 Harrington jacket as a part of its latest launch, which is the G9 Anniversary book. Back in 1937, the brand was founded and a year following, the Fraser Tartan was added. The jacket is now celebrating the milestone that is its 85th year. Baracuta celebrates the garment with a 200-page book that is made up of snapshots, visuals, and personal details of the brand and affiliations.

Ladi Kazeem is seen in the book carrying a stack of apparel from his vintage resale imprint Vault MCR. He notes, “When I was growing up, there was a certain type of person who wore the G9 in the area I’m from – which is very working class and very Northern – and you’d see them on scooters going to the valleys. I used to associate the jacket with mods and rockers culture, but now I see people wearing G9s who come from different backgrounds and have different styles.”
