Future Château, the new wine brand created by Tom Benn, is making its debut in the drinks scene with a novel twist on classic wines. Launching exclusively at Selfridges, the brand introduces a range of mid-strength wines, including a red, white, and sparkling option—all at just 5% ABV.
Made from 100% premium grapes using traditional winemaking techniques, these wines aim to deliver the full flavor, aroma, and mouthfeel of regular wines, but with two-thirds less alcohol and calories, making them perfect for those who want to enjoy wine without overindulging. Each bottle boasts its own distinct taste profile, while the collection is instantly recognizable thanks to its striking, iridescent labels.
“I love wine, but it doesn’t always suit my lifestyle,” says Tom Benn, founder of Future Château. “So I started to ask, why does it need to be so strong? I wanted to create something sessionable - but it had to taste as good as full strength, or what was the point? I had no idea how hard that would be. Five years, four countries and three continents later, we’re finally here.”
