The 'Fun Sizes' ruler has been designed by IU + Design as a functional yet fashionable desktop accessory for enhancing the user experience in a simple yet effective way.

The ruler consists of the usual elongated size complete with measurement markings and is equipped with a set of calipers. These calipers allow for precision placement at the measurement point and are equipped with a magnifying lens for easily making the digit more visible. The calipers and rulers are colored in several bright finishes to make them more appealing for younger children.

Lead Designer Shen Jiye commented on the 'Fun Sizes' ruler saying, "Children between the ages of 3 and 8 are in the cognitive and exploratory stage of figure and size recognition. They don’t have many practical ideas about actual product size, and traditional vernier calipers designed for adults are not child-friendly."
