Skin Health-Focused Full-Body Scans

SkinBit Fills a Niche in Preventative Health—Skin Monitoring

SkinBit, a Los Angeles-based company founded by melanoma survivor and Deezer co-founder Jonathan Benassaya, has raised $6 million in pre-seed funding for its full-body scan technology. Investors in this concept include Boost VC, Cleo Capital, Manna Ventures, Profluent Capital, Lyft co-founder Logan Green, and nine board-certified dermatologists.

The goal of this financial support is to launch SkinBit's full-body scanner for skin cancer screening that creates a longitudinal, patient-owned record of skin health over time. The innovation performs a 20-minute full-body scan reviewed by board-certified dermatologists and stores the images as a baseline for future comparisons, effectively turning dermatology from a subjective annual visual exam into a continuous, data-driven practice
