This free gif maker comes from Giphy, the massive online library of moving images, and it's ridiculously easy to use.

A gif, for those who don't know, is a very short video clip that can be copied and pasted onto web pages and into social media posts like a photo. Previously, gifs could only be made using photoshop tools.

This new online tool from Giphy is called, simply, GIFmaker. It's a free gif maker that uses any clip found online -- from YouTube or Vimeo, for example -- to create a moving image. To use the free gif maker, all users have to do is drag the start and end markers to where they want the gif to start and end. It's incredibly intuitive and easy to use -- so that even your grandma can make her own gif.
