Four-Nozzle 3D Printers

Creality Moves the K3 From Pre-Order to U.S. Availability at $849

Creality brought four-nozzle 3D printing to everyday making with the ‘K3,’ a flagship K Series machine that moves from pre-order to U.S. availability at $849. Its ‘KliTek’ system keeps multiple filaments ready in separate channels, letting the printer switch colors in about 5 seconds while reducing the purge waste common in single-nozzle multi-color printing.

That setup also lets users mix nozzle sizes within a single job, pairing finer surface detail with more efficient internal structures. Optional accessories expand the K3’s capabilities to engineering materials, flexible TPU and soluble supports, broadening the range of objects it can handle without changing printers.

Creality shows how the K3 at $849 can turn multi-color printing from a slow specialty process into a more practical desktop option, while the U.S. rollout, with Europe planned for December 2026, puts pressure on printers that still treat color changes as a time-consuming compromise.

Multi-nozzle Desktop Printing
Affordable four-nozzle systems make multi-color and multi-material fabrication more practical for small studios, classrooms and home makers.
Low-waste Color Switching
Faster filament changes with reduced purge material create room for more sustainable prototyping workflows and lower operating costs.
Hybrid Detail Printing
Combining different nozzle sizes in one print enables products with refined exterior finishes and faster-built internal structures.

Where This Applies

Consumer 3D Printing
Accessible multi-color machines can shift desktop printers from hobby tools toward more versatile household production platforms.
Product Prototyping
Design teams gain new potential to test aesthetics, structure and material behavior in a single print cycle without outsourcing iterations.
Education Technology
Classroom fabrication labs benefit from printers that demonstrate color, material science and structural design through one compact system.
