TAG Heuer's Formula 1 Gulf Special Edition Celebrates 20 Years

Watchmakers TAG Heuer introduces the Formula 1 Gulf Special Edition in commemorating the 20th anniversary of Gulf Victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. The celebratory timepiece boasts a quartz chronograph made from steel and is 43mm in diameter. Additionally, the watch is designed to have a notched steel bezel along with an aluminum ring attached to a tachymeter scale. Some more defined details include the blue and orange stripe found on the dial as a nod to the story of the collaborative project.

Recalling the watch's history, the technical movements tell time to a tenth of a second showcased on the small counter at the bottom of the face, minute counter at the left, and current seconds counter on the right. The back casing sees a Gulf logo engraving, and it is finished with a blue leather strap contrasted by orange tonal stitching.
