For a city that, unsuccessfully, tried to strip menus of foie gras, Chicago certainly is having a moment with goose liver. Adding to the tasty foie gras eats in the city is the foie gras French toast found on The Publican’s Sunday brunch menu – a must-visit destination for those attending Trend Hunter’s Chicago innovation conference who are eager to immerse themselves in the city’s thriving culinary scene.

This deliciously gluttonous meal consists of fried French toast topped with strawberry preserves and foie gras with a side of sausage. At $12, foie gras French toast is much more economical than the name would suggest.

All this talk of foie gras is making me hungry-I definitely have to make a trip to Chi-town soon!
