Flower Fireworks

Sarah Illenberger Creates Vibrant Floral Arrangements for The Plant Journal

Flowerwork is the clever title for a series of flower fireworks. Although one might interpret that as fireworks that look like flowers, it is actually the other way around. Through a series of creative floral arrangements, German multidisciplinary artist Sarah Illenberger was able to create a series of flower fireworks that bring the magic of such performances into the home.

A person might even be inspired to recreate these flower fireworks in the flesh rather than desiring a print of Illenberger's series, which was shot by photographer Sabrina Rynas. Capture against a pitch black backdrop as though it were a night sky, the flower fireworks stand out beautifully. People might even mistake them for the real deal at first glance. The images are signed and numbered for those interested in owning a copy.
