These miniature floating shelves conceal outlets and work as small charging stations.
Created by the Spanish design studio Oitenta, the 'Floating Shelf' is made of light-colored wood and is quite compact, but still large enough to hold items such as clocks, plants, books or other decorative items. The shelf is intended to be placed over a wall outlet -- simultaneously working to conceal the outlet and functioning as a small charging station. An elastic band holds together charging devices and cables, which results in a small phone dock area that can be covered up by simply closing the door of the shelf.
These floating shelves are compact but multi-purposed, making them an excellent decoration to cover up poorly placed wall outlets.
