Floating Diamond Watches

Chopard's Happy Diamonds Heritage Is Reimagined

Chopard updated its Happy Diamonds Heritage collection in two sizes, featuring the maison’s signature floating diamonds that move freely across the dial. The designs preserve the suspended-stone concept introduced in 1976 while retaining the cushion-shaped case, onyx dial and refined proportions.

The 34 mm model houses Chopard’s in-house 10.01-C hand-wound movement, the brand’s smallest and thinnest caliber of its kind, with a 45-hour power reserve and 21 floating diamonds. A 24 mm quartz version for smaller wrists contains nine suspended diamonds. Both use Responsible Jewelry Council-certified stones set in ethical 18-karat gold.

For wearers, the collection combines playful motion with disco-era glamour. The mechanical 34 mm model offers in-house movement credentials, while the quartz version broadens wrist appeal. The release reflects demand for smaller watches and archival luxury design; for Chopard, the two-size strategy extends a recognizable house signature across collector preferences.
