Iconic Elegant Watch Interpretations

Chanel Debuts the Première Ribbon Red Timepiece Collection

Chanel has introduced the Première Ribbon Red timepiece collection, a new interpretation of the iconic 1987. The contemporary version of this design features an octagonal case recalling the stopper of the No.5 perfume and the shape of the Place Vendôme, now rendered in a flamboyant red that was one of Gabrielle Chanel's favorite colors.

The original Première Ribbon Red timepiece broke from traditional watchmaking codes with its monochrome dial that lacked indexes or a seconds hand. Its contemporary reinterpretation is dressed in an intense sunburst-lacquered red that plays with light reflections, while the bracelet delivers a velvet touch for a tactile dimension and a couture feeling. The yellow gold case and diamond-set crown accentuate the design's preciousness.

Collectors and admirers of the maison are sure to be taken with the Première Ribbon Red timepiece interpretation.
