Flipz Apple Cider Donut has been announced by the pladis-owned brand as the pretzel snack brand's latest take on its classic treat for consumers of all ages to enjoy this summer and fall.

The product starts off with salty pretzels that are covered with a smooth coating that's flavored with the sweet and tart flavor of apple cider in every bite. A series of warming spices are also infused into the coating to further round out the flavor profile as the perfect fall treat with a convenient format to boot. The snack responds to the popularity of seasonal treats as consumers gravitate towards familiar products with an updated twist.

Flipz Apple Cider Donut is a limited-edition product that will start hitting retailers in mid-August including Albertsons, Family Dollar, Kroger and Ahold. The pretzel snack will come in 6.5-ounce pouches.
