The Folded Vessel is a flat-pack alternative to a conventional magazine rack that offers consumers a stylish and much more minimal place to organize books and magazines in a small space. The rack is comprised of a series of flat metal sheets that are folded and bound together using tacks. The surface provides a shelf that can be used to hold a large quantity of reading material and keep the items organized if owning a shelf occupies too much space in the residence.
The rack is designed by Chen Chen & Kai Williams for a brand called Good Thing as a cost-effective solution to organizing magazines. The shelf can really be used for a variety of flat objects such as books or records, while the matte black colorway allows the piece to fit seamlessly into a variety of decors.
