Boutique gaming mouse manufacturer Finalmouse introduces its new Centerpiece that is set at the price of $349. It is a mechanical keyboard that has a screen built under clear keycaps and switches. This gives off the illusion that users are typing directly onto the screen whilst also retaining the tactile functions of a traditional keyboard.
There is a variety of visualization including the Matric-style green text that scrolls through along with nature videos. Some of these are made to be interactive, including a pool of water that splashes around dynamically when clicking on certain keys. Additionally, the keyboard also shows a simple interactive game and the company describes this blend of display and switch as its “DisplayCircuit Glass Stack.”
